How will this program help me achieve my career goals?
If your goal is to start an in-demand career with an established employer, then this program will help you achieve that goal.
The top three reasons our participants report for taking our program are:
They want to build a mainstream career with a new job in the field of Talent Acquisition Sourcing.
They want to work remotely from the comfort and familiarity of their own home.
They want an on-ramp from their academic studies to placement with an employer upon graduation.
What will I learn, and how will I learn it?
The 20-week academic program has ten two week blocks with weekly check in. Each block comprises several modules containing approximately five hours of online learning. An instructor guides your small online cohort of eight participants through this structured, online professional education program. This methodology provides the foundations of how to locate and identify prospective job candidates to fill a variety of in-demand positions. Ultimately in your career as a talent acquisition sourcer, your newly developed research skills identify passive job candidates that will then be passed along to the hiring specialists in the team for further pursuit.
A personal empowerment program is superimposed on our program. It features a group session every other week and individual one-on-one sessions during the other weeks. This way you receive the support and guidance to strengthen your sense of self-worth and identity, which includes the ability to make decisions and plan for the future.
What is an example of how I will master the Talent Acquisition Sourcing skills in the curriculum?
Our Module 3, LinkedIn Sourcing, is a great example. LinkedIn is a recruiter’s favorite hunting ground for professional talent. This unit teaches you how to use every aspect of the search function and best practices to navigate the site. You will learn tactics for using different search fields within LinkedIn and how to unearth the best candidates. You will learn:
How to navigate LinkedIn search interface.
How to apply our proprietary search string to get the best results.
How to filter search results to those that are the most relevant and see fresh faces.
How to use the LinkedIn Recruiter interface.
While you can find many of the concepts you’ll learn in this module online, the most critical aspect of mastering them is to be able to apply them in real-life scenarios in your practicum experience with actual employers.
This learning methodology allows you to learn, master, and apply the skills needed to succeed in your future career as a Talent Acquisition Sourcer.
